Company Overview
Veresis Consulting was formed recognizing the needs of business owners throughout a company's Life Cycle. Companies in different industries have similar characteristics at each stage of growth. However certain issues can prevent a company from advancing to the next stage. These issues (some may say "problems") range from lack of financial information, and no policies/procedures at the Entrepreneurial stage, to lack of financial strategy, or a need for interim senior financial management in a Mature company.
These issues distract the organization and create inefficiencies. As a result, there is a loss of focus on growing the business. At all stages of the Life Cycle, there is a risk that the administrative function does not get managed, and eventually, unfortunate surprises surface.

Veresis Solutions for Small Businesses
Small Businesses, especially those at the beginning of the Life Cycle can be somewhat chaotic, very creative, and intensly focused on the product and customer. Generally managed by the founder, there is little attention paid to the administrative function until there is a problem…either with a governmental authority, or with the cash position.
Veresis provides administrative services for Small Businesses. These can include setting up internal administration, fully outsourced accounting, business plan writing, and even training/mentoring of the management team.

Veresis Solutions for Growing and Large Enterprises Veresis provides professional Interim Financial Management, and Outsourced Financial Management for European headquarters, or European divisions of international companies. These needs may be driven from internal reorganizations, special projects, or a natural evolution of the financial function in the company. |
About Kurt Schmidt

Clients choose Veresis Consulting because of the professional experience of Kurt Schmidt. Mr. Schmidt has 20 years of experience in the finance and operational areas of international companies. Mr. Schmidt completed his Business Management MBA in 1991 at Pepperdine University in California. He holds a Certified Public Accountant qualification in the State of Ohio, and received his BSBA, Accounting Major at Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio. From 1984 to the present, Mr. Schmidt has lived and worked in the USA, The Netherlands, and France. He has held a number of financial positions at organizations in diverse industries ranging from healthcare, fast moving consumer goods, and IT. Currently Mr. Schmidt resides in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
